Payment Conditions
1. General
These Payment Conditions define the procedures for booking, payment, refunds and complaints. The Company reserves the right to modify these conditions at any time. Any changes will be reflected on the payment page. The customer is responsible for the accuracy of all personal payment information entered.
2. Payment Options
Payment must be made in full at the start of the rental period. Rent A Car X-GO offers flexible payment methods to accommodate different preferences:
- Online Payment: Choose this option when making your booking. After we confirm your reservation, you'll get a secure payment link by email. Payment is completed through the link we send before the rental period begins. By choosing this option, you receive an instant 5% discount on the total rental price.
- Cash/Card on Delivery: Pay in cash or by card upon vehicle delivery. Please note that no discount applies to this option.
3. Accepted Payment Methods
Payments can be made using VISA, Maestro or MasterCard that support online transactions. Payments are securely processed through the AllSecure Payment Gateway in cooperation with Hipotekarna Banka AD Podgorica, using certified and encrypted methods.
4. Booking & Prepayment Policy
Reservations are accepted exclusively through the official website www.rentacarxgo.com. To validate a booking, the customer must make an advance payment in the agreed amount. The Company reserves the right to modify booking rules at any time.
5. Cancellation & Refund Policy
A reservation can be cancelled via email (info@rentacarxgo.com), WhatsApp (+382 69 262 207) or by calling +382 69 262 207 / +382 69 727 288 at least 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up.
- Cancellations made at least 48 hours before pick-up: Full refund.
- Cancellations made between 12 and 48 hours before pick-up: Partial refund, covering only extras (e.g. insurance, equipment). The rental fee for the vehicle is non-refundable.
- Cancellations made less than 12 hours before pick-up: No refund.
Refunds are processed to the same credit/debit card used for payment.
The time of the cancellation request will be considered as the time when the Company receives an email, message or call.
6. Complaint Procedure
To initiate a complaint, please contact info@rentacarxgo.com or call +382 69 262 207 / +382 69 727 288. You will receive a response within 24 hours with further instructions.
7. Payment Security
When entering payment card details, confidential information is transmitted over the public network in a protected (encrypted) form using the SSL protocol, applying the most advanced tokenization methods for sensitive data and in full compliance with PCI-DSS standards. At no point are card details available to the merchant.
3D Secure Protection — AllSecure Payment Gateway uses the highest global standards of data protection and privacy. All merchants using AllSecure Payment Gateway are automatically included in 3D Secure protection, ensuring safe online transactions for customers. Card numbers are not stored on the website, and the entry of card details is protected by SSL encryption.
PCI DSS Standards — AllSecure Payment Gateway continuously complies with all requirements of card organizations to enhance the security level for both merchants and customers. Since 2005, the system has been certified without interruption as PCI-DSS Level 1, which represents the highest standard in the industry. PCI DSS defines the necessary security measures for processing, storing, and transmitting sensitive cardholder data. These standards protect customer data throughout the entire payment process — from the moment the data is entered on the website, through communication between the website and relevant banks/card schemes, and during subsequent data storage.
8. Currency & Conversion
All payments are processed in Euros (€). If the customer's bank card is issued by a foreign bank, the transaction amount will be converted into the customer's local currency according to the exchange rates of Visa/MasterCard.
9. Personal Data Protection
The Company collects only the necessary personal data to process payments and fulfill its obligations. All data is stored securely and accessed only by authorized personnel. The Company complies with applicable data protection regulations. Customers can request the deletion or exclusion of their data from marketing lists at any time.
